SMRT incident

Did you hear about the MRT accident where a Thai girl was hit by upcoming train?
Well, there's a follow up story in Stomp how the father of the girl is suing SMRT for not caring enough. What amazed me is the comments by Singaporeans (esp. the first comment). As always, totally not graceful and has no empathy for other people's misfortunes.

Sure, it might not by SMRT's fault, but can't you express your opinion in a more civilized way?

Interlude

Let me make this clear for you: this blog is NOT about politics or bashing Singaporean Government, it's bashing the Singaporeans. The government here is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. I couldn't ask for a better place to live. However, that's not the case with the people I live with, everyday, every where I look in this country. They are strangers, but they are annoying strangers. I can't come up to them and tell them how annoying they are, that's why I have the idea to write this blog. Just to release my rant.

In case you're wondering "what's up with this guy's blog skin". I found this blog template with iPhone as the background so I thought, "Perfect! What other picture is better for a blog that bashing Singaporeans than a picture of iPhone, the Holy Grail of Singaporean?" *sarcasm* Singapore is among the 20 smallest countries in the world and yet, there are 400k users of iPhone in this country, that's 8% of the population. Ridiculous.

Well, nothing's wrong with using iPhone, of course. IF you know what to do with it. Whenever I ask my friend: "Why do you use iPhone?"
The answer would be something shallow like: "Cos it's touchscreen." "Cos it has lots of games that I can play."
*awkward silence*
"You can do that with Android as well."
"What's Android?"
....uhm..

And so another reason to make this blog.
